Celebrate French-Speaking Cultures from Around the World on Nov. 23

Francophone FestivalCelebrate French language and culture in Montgomery County at the fifth annual Francophone Festival on Nov. 23. The event will be held from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. There will be a variety of activities for the entire family, including art workshops, live entertainment, trivia games, a talent show and much more.

The festival was started by a small group of French teachers in MCPS who wanted to encourage all French teachers and their students to celebrate French language and culture in the community. The first festival was held in 2007.
