Honoring Contributions to Special Education
Staff, students and parents are encouraged to submit nominations to recognize individuals who have contributed to the success and acceptance of students with special needs.
The recognitions are being given by the Special Education Committee of the Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA). The recognition ceremony, which will be held at Rockville High School on May 14, will acknowledge the benefits of investing in programs for students with disabilities.
Nominations are being accepted in four categories: Staff, Programs, Parents and Students. Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged.
Applications are due by Friday, March 23. Nominations can be submitted by staff members, parents or students. They should be submitted by email attachment to Jeanne Taylor.
If you are unable to submit an electronic nomination, you may send a completed nomination form and a nominating statement, along with supporting statements to the MCCPTA office: Montgomery County Council of PTAs, P.O. Box 10754, Rockville, MD 20849.
