Youth Voices for Diversity Summit Set for March 18
MCPS, in conjunction with Baltimore City Public Schools, District of Columbia Public Schools and Prince George’s County Public Schools, will host the Youth Voices for Diversity Summit. This event will bring together 100 high school students from each of the four districts to discuss the value of having diverse voices in youth leadership and action.
The summit will be held on Saturday, March 18, 9 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at Northwestern High School in Prince George’s County. The Summit is free to participants, including lunch, materials and prizes. Students will need to provide their own transportation to the event. More information can be found online.
Registration is limited to 100 MCPS students and is on a first come, first served basis. Student leaders should register using this link.
This is a unique opportunity for student leaders across the region to share and use their diverse voices in a meaningful and positive environment.
