Do you ever feel defensive, frustrated or helpless when dealing with difficult people or situations? Bring your lunch and join us for an interactive workshop to learn practical strategies on how to deal with situations and people that “press your buttons.” This event is being held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Aspen Room at 45 W. Gude Dr. in Rockville. Space is limited; an RSVP is required. For more information or to register, contact the EAP at 240-314-1040.
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, a second workshop will offer information on help for caregivers. The Jewish Council for the Aging will host, “You Can’t Do It All … Help Is Out There for Caregivers,” which will include a discussion on its services, including program information and assistance, caregiver support, mobility management and adult day programs for those with dementia and those dealing with the physical and emotional challenges of aging.
