Work Schedule News for the 2018–2019 School Year

If you are a 10-month employee, your summer vacation may come to a close on a different date than your coworkers’, based on your position. Your first work day of the 2018–2019 school year—as well as the total number of duty days for the year, any in-service days, and more—is listed on the annual work schedule.
Nine- and 10-month SEIU employees will have the same number of paid days during the 2018–2019 school year as they had during the 2017–2018 school year. They will not have the same number of workdays, however. This is because there will be two additional holidays for all 10-month employees due to Election Day and Christmas Eve.
