Join Us This Saturday, Aug. 27 for the Annual Back-to-School Fair

MCPS is hosting its annual Back-to-School Fair on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westfield Wheaton mall. Along with MCPS departments and offices, representatives from dozens of community and county organizations will be there, including Montgomery College, Montgomery County Public Libraries, Linkages to Learning, Montgomery County Recreation, the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center, Catholic Charities, MoCo Pride Center, Maryland 529, Brothers with Books, Latinas Leading Tomorrow and the Montgomery County Council of PTAs.
Kaiser Permanente will also be offering free health screenings, checking blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), cholesterol, glucose and A1C.
MCPS will offer free transportation from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. to and from the following high schools: Gaithersburg, Montgomery Blair, Paint Branch and Richard Montgomery.
