Montgomery College to Host Event to Help Future College Students Complete FAFSA
The 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available October 1, 2018. College-bound students and their families can get professional assistance filling out the FAFSA form at the second annual FAFSA Fever event. This event will be hosted by the Montgomery College Office of Student Financial Aid on Sunday, October 14 from 12–3 p.m. at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, in the lobby of the Charlene R. Nunley Student Services Center. Parking will be available at the East Garage.
FAFSA Fever is an event to assist families as they complete the FAFSA—the form required by colleges and universities to qualify for scholarships, grants and loans. FAFSA Fever is free and open to the public. Current college students who may be renewing or filling out the FAFSA for the first time are also welcome at this event.
Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with financial aid professionals and use the Montgomery College computer labs to submit their FAFSA online. Current Montgomery College students can also enter to win a $500 scholarship.
Space is limited and registration is required. Please visit www.montgomerycollege.edu/FAFSAFever to register and download a complete list of documents to bring.
