Montgomery College to Host Event to Help Future College Students Complete FAFSA
The 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. College-bound students and their families can get professional assistance filling out the FAFSA form at the first annual FAFSA Fever event. This event will be hosted by the Montgomery College Office of Student Financial Aid on Saturday, November 2 from 12–3 p.m. at Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus in the Science Center located at 51 Mannakee Street.
FAFSA Fever is an event to assist families as they complete the FAFSA—the form required by colleges and universities to qualify for scholarships, grants and loans. FAFSA Fever is free and open to the public, and Spanish interpreters will be available. Current college students who may be filling out the FAFSA form for the first time are also welcome at this event.
Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with financial aid professionals and use the Montgomery College computer labs to submit their FAFSA form online. Information will be available about Maryland state grants and scholarships.
