On Monday, Jan. 15, Montgomery County will celebrate the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Join thousands of Americans across the country who will celebrate the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours while participating in worthwhile activities with family and friends.
Project sites for 2018 will include the North Bethesda Marriott Conference Center (1–3 p.m.), Silver Spring Civic Building (10 a.m.–noon) and Seneca Creek Community Church (9–11 a.m.) Individuals who wish to serve at one of these locations must sign up in advance.
