2.5 Year Plan Focused on Struggling and Gifted Learners
MCPS has developed a long-range plan, the MCPS 2.5 Year Project Plan, to address unlearned content from the beginning phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan also addresses the curriculum standards that were intentionally compacted, reduced or removed to adapt to the virtual learning schedule.
The multi-year plan will focus on meeting the needs of struggling learners and will also determine how to best identify students who need accelerated courses. It has four main components:

- Focus on Most Poverty Impacted Schools
- Well-Being Support
- Digital Learning and Support
