A New Physical Activity Challenge for Fall: Going the (Physical) Distance Relay
These are strange times. It is certainly easy to lose focus on exercise since so many gyms are closed and races have been cancelled. However, it is really important for adults to be active and keep moving. Not only is exercise good for us physically, but it is also important for our mental health.
If your exercise routine has gotten off track or if you need a reason to start a program, this is your chance! Well Aware is challenging you to hit the reset button, reconnect with your teammates, and recommit to exercise by joining the Going the (Physical) Distance Relay.
While we can’t be together in person to walk, run or exercise, we can use this time to connect through social media or by phone to encourage each other. So, make a team, exercise on your own and stay in touch with each other! Teams can work together to encourage healthy habits and provide support in developing them through this 10-week physical activity challenge.
