Apply for Student Debt Relief by March 31, 2020
Supporting services employees who are interested in taking advantage of student loan debt relief are asked to submit an application by Tuesday, March 31, 2020. This program helps eligible employees in the SEIU bargaining unit pay off student loans sooner.

SEIU Local 500 and the Board of Education established the fund for SEIU Local 500 unit members at MCPS, as part of the fiscal year 2018–2020 negotiated agreement. This fund provides assistance in paying up to 5 percent yearly of your loan balance at the time of hire. Funding can be used to pay for programs at universities, trade schools, training programs and other institutions that provide educational opportunities for supporting services employees to do their jobs.
