The Board of Education is seeking further community input on the 2022–2023 school calendar. There are two options to consider. Please complete the survey by Thursday, Dec. 30.

Both options include:

  • Monday, Aug. 29, 2022 as the first day of school

  • Full spring break
  • Contingency/emergency days throughout the year

The differences are as follows:

Option 1 includes:

  • Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 as a non-instructional day (no school for students and teachers).
  • The school year ends (for students) on Friday, June 16, 2023.
  • The last day for teachers is Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Option 2 includes:

  • Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 as an early release day (for students).
  • The school year ends (for students) on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
  • The last day for teachers is Friday, June 16, 2023.

The Board is scheduled to discuss and adopt a final school calendar on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022.
