BOE to Hold Hearings on the CIP, Boundary Study
The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold several public hearings on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Capital Budget, Amendments to the FY 2021-2026 Capital Improvements Program (CIP), and Somerset and Westbrook Boundary Study in November. All public hearings will be held virtually. Testimony will be accepted in written or pre-recorded video/audio formats.
Superintendent Jack R. Smith released his recommended FY 2022 Capital Budget, Amendments to the FY 2021-2026 CIP, and Somerset and Westbrook Boundary Study on October 26.
The public hearings will be conducted according to the following schedule:

The Board of Education held its first worksession on the CIP Oct. 26. The second session will be held on Oct. 29. The adoption of the proposed CIP is tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.
