BOND Project Hosts 2nd Annual Learning Academy
Last month, the Building Our Network of Diversity (BOND) Project, an MCPS initiative focused on the recruitment, development and retention of male educators of color, hosted its 2nd Annual BOND Academy at Argyle Middle School. The Academy is a free, professional development experience for educators and change agents in Montgomery County and the region.
The event included more than 20 dynamic workshops that discussed instructional strategy, career advancement and cultural proficiency, all with a spotlight on workforce diversity. Participants included MCPS and regional educators, Montgomery County Board of Education members, university faculty, national education experts and elected county officials.
The BOND Project’s 3rd Annual Academy will be held in the spring of 2020. Learn more about the BOND Project here and follow @BONDEducators on Twitter.
