Caring for the Caregiving Webinar Set for June 8

A webinar on Caring for the Caregiving will be held virtually from 4–5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.
One of the most common problems family caregivers face is trying to juggle their job responsibilities with their caregiving responsibilities. Being a family caregiver is incredibly important, but it is critical not to lose sight of who you are. This informative webinar will explore ways caregivers can care for themselves while continuing to care for their loved ones and balancing other responsibilities. Caregivers are often faced with feelings of grief even though their loved one is still with them. The presentation will also explore these feelings, known as anticipatory grief, and present tools for healthy coping.
The workshop will be presented by Judith R. Peres, LCSW-C, a consultant in the nursing home and palliative/end-of-life care policy and a clinical social worker serving Medicare beneficiaries.
