Community Conversation for Latino Families Set for February 27
A community conversation about resources and supports for Latino families is being held from 1–2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. This event will share information about academic, health and community supports for Latino families during the pandemic. This conversation will be in Spanish.
The discussion will explore a variety of topics, including rental assistance; help with food; COVID-19 vaccinations and testing sites; equity hubs for childcare; tutoring and Saturday School for students; and counseling and parent outreach supports for families.
This event is being presented by the Latino Student Achievement Action Group (LSAAG), MCPS, Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA).
