CREATE Program Hosting Teacher Kickoff Meeting on Feb. 20
Montgomery College is hosting a kickoff meeting for the spring 2020 CREATE teacher cohort from 4:30–6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. The meeting will be held at the Montgomery College Rockville campus, 51 Mannakee St. in the Science Center, Room SC152.
This meeting is for MCPS employees who are interested in the Culturally Responsive Educators Aspiring for Teaching Excellence (CREATE) partnership, as well as employees who are currently enrolled in the CREATE partnership.
The CREATE partnership provides a pathway to:
- Earn an Associate of Arts in Teaching with minimal tuition and fees
- Transfer to any Maryland state university
- Take distance, evening and weekend courses
- Pursue alternative certification for degree holders (in critical need areas)
Montgomery College is now accepting applications for this program. Those currently enrolled will have an opportunity to meet with their advisors.
