If you are one of the many employees who had a flexible spending account (FSA) in 2017, then it is time for you to review your account and make plans to use any remaining balances before March 15, 2018.
Qualifying medical and/or dependent care expenses incurred from January 1, 2017, through March 15, 2018, may be reimbursed from 2017 FSA funds. All plan-year 2017 FSA claims must be submitted by April 30, 2018, to Benefit Strategies, the company that administers FSAs for MCPS. Any funds that remain unclaimed after April 30, 2018, will be forfeited.
