pay raiseEligible MCPS employees will see an increase in their salaries beginning with their March 7 paycheck.

The negotiated agreements approved by the Board of Education and the three employee associations last spring included salary increases for eligible employees which took effect on February 8, 2014, the first day of the February 8–21, 2014, pay period. If you were eligible for the Fiscal Year 2014 salary increase, you will receive it beginning with your March 7, 2014, paycheck. (This is because MCPS employees are paid two weeks after the last day of a pay period.)

To determine if you have received a salary increase, please visit the Fiscal Year 2014 Salary Increases web page.

Don’t Risk Losing 2013 FSA Funds: Use Balances by March 15

If you are one of the many employees who had a flexible spending account (FSA) in 2013, then it is time for you to review your account and make plans to use any remaining balances before March 15, 2014.

Qualifying expenses from your medical and/or dependent care FSAs incurred between            January 1, 2013, and March 15, 2014, may be reimbursed from your 2013 plan election. Any remaining 2013 balances after March 15, 2014, will be forfeited. All 2013 plan-year FSA claims must be submitted by April 30, 2014.

For additional information about FSAs or to download a form for filing an FSA claim, visit our website. To review your account, visit the ADP website.
