New features are coming to the Employee Self-Service (ESS) webpage. Beginning Monday, Nov. 18, employees will be able to access these new or enhanced options:

  • Home address—Employees will be able update their home address by clicking My home address under the orange My Information banner.
  • W-4 tax withholdings—Employees now will be able to select a third withholding option on their W-4 form: Married, withhold at a single rate. To access the tax withholdings form from ESS, click My W-4, under the blue My Taxes banner.
  • Direct deposit—Employees now will be able to direct MCPS to have their pay automatically deposited into any two bank accounts. Previously, employees could only elect Educational Systems Federal Credit Union as their second bank.

To access these new options, employees will log in to the new ESS functions using their MCPS user ID and password. Retirees and former employees will still need to complete and submit MCPS Form 445-1, Change in Personal Information, to update their addresses with their health insurance vendors.

Questions? Contact the Employee and Retiree Service Center (ERSC) at 301-517-8100 or via email.
