ersc-cornerThe way employees access their biweekly paystub has changed as part of an ongoing effort to provide staff with easier access to online benefit, pay, and retirement forms and resources.

MCPS employees now log in to view ePaystubs from the Employee Self-Service (ESS) web page. The link displayed on the April 25 ePaystub announcement email will take employees to the ESS web page, where they will find a link to My ePaystub. Detailed instructions for accessing ePaystub are included in the announcement email.

In addition to the My ePaystub link on the ESS web page, there now is a link to archived ePaystubs—My ePaystubs prior to April 29, 2016. This link provides access to ePaystubs dated April 15, 2016, and earlier.

The ePaystubs are being generated from a new system that, along with other new features, includes increased security. Along with typing an employee ID number to access ePaystub, employees need to type a security code that is distorted on the screen. This helps ensure that a person, and not a computer program, is attempting to log in.
