Continuing Education and Educational Leadership Partnerships
Continuing education and educational leadership partnerships continue recruitment and offer information sessions for interested employees who hold initial teacher certification.
Hood College for Educational Leadership: Recruitment for fall 2022 begins in November.
The Educational Leadership Program is recruiting for the 36-credit Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership. The 18-credit Certification Preparation program is full with a waitlist. To be eligible, employees should have three or more consecutive years of successful classroom teaching experience. Courses are taught by current and former MCPS administrators. An accelerated course format allows students to finish the master’s degree program in three years, and leaves students prepared for Administrator I and II certification. McDaniel College Educational Leadership with Administrator I Certification: Opportunity is available for this fall; courses begin in October. With courses including Brain-Based Teaching and Learning, Social and Emotional Learning and Technology’s Impact on Teaching, this program prepares teachers to become transformational leaders. Don’t miss this chance to join McDaniel’s newly designed program, Master of Science in Innovations in Teaching and Learning with Administrator I certification.
