Bethany A. Petr, resource teacher at Thomas S. Wootton High School, died on Feb. 7. She was 43 years old and had been with MCPS for more than 21 years.
Patrice A. Rives, teacher at Rachel Carson Elementary School, died on Feb. 2. She was 38 years old and had more than 16 years of service with MCPS.
