Eugenio Avalos Lopez, building service assistant manager at Shady Grove Middle School, died on Feb. 23. He was 63 years old and had 18 years of service to MCPS.
Mary P. Middendorf, teacher at Col. Zadok Magruder High School, died on Feb. 11. She was 65 years old and had been with MCPS for more than 16 years.
Rosemary G. Piercey, teacher at Albert Einstein High School, died on Feb. 28. She was 72 years old and had been with MCPS for more than 38 years.
Jesus J. Soto, building service worker at Stonegate Elementary School, died on Feb. 22. He was 57 years old and had worked for MCPS for more than 16 years.
