Interest meetings are being held for a partnership program supporting professionals who want to teach.
The University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) are hosting an informational session for support professionals who are interested in pursuing Maryland state teacher certification to become MCPS teachers. Those who are interested will become prepared to teach in one of the following—Grades 7-12 certification areas: mathematics, biology, earth/space science, chemistry, physics or computer science; or in prekindergarten–Grade 12 English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
Information meetings will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on May 2 and June 6.
