Join the Mind/Body Reboot!
Well Aware, the MCPS wellness program, is challenging you to unplug, reboot your mind and body, and create new, healthy behaviors by joining the 10-week Mind/Body Reboot physical activity challenge.
With our intense focus on technology over the past year, we all know the importance of rebooting our Chromebooks and laptops. Rebooting helps systems run efficiently and can often speed up their performance.
Our systems have been under a lot of physical and emotional stress due to the pandemic. When under stress, our bodies produce fight-or-flight hormones, which can lead to mental fog and physical exhaustion. With the Mind/Body Reboot, you have an opportunity to work towards your health and wellness goals.
Along the way, Well Aware will offer incentives to keep you motivated. You could win individual prizes or grants to promote wellness at your school or office, as well as recognition for your efforts.
