MCPS will honor its retiring employees during a reception on Monday, June 13. The event will be held from 5–7 p.m. at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m.

To receive an invitation to this year’s reception, retiring employees must submit completed retirement forms to the Employee and Retiree Service Center (ERSC) no later than Friday, May 13. Retirement forms are available on the ERSC Retirement Planning web page. Employees who submit retirement paperwork after May 13, 2016, will be honored at next year’s reception.

Retirees planning to attend the reception must RSVP online by Thursday, May 26, by completing the online form.

Additional information about the retirement process is available on the Retirement Planning web page.

Starting April 25, ePaystubs Will Be Accessible from Employee Self-Service Website

The way employees will access their biweekly paystub will soon change as part of an ongoing effort to provide staff with easier access to online benefit, pay, and retirement forms and resources.

Beginning April 25, MCPS employees will be able to log in to view their ePaystubs from the Employee Self-Service (ESS) web page. The link displayed on the April 25 ePaystub announcement email will take employees to the ESS web page, where they will find a link to My ePaystub. Detailed instructions for accessing ePaystub will be included in the announcement email.

In addition to the My ePaystub link on the ESS web page, there will be a link to archived ePaystubs—My ePaystubs prior to April 29, 2016. This link will provide access to ePaystubs dated April 15, 2016, and earlier.

ePaystubs will be generated from a new system that, along with other features, will include increased security. Along with typing your employee ID number to access ePaystub, employees will type a security code that you will see distorted on the screen. This will help ensure that a person, and not a computer program, is attempting to log in.

Call ERSC with questions about Employee Self-Service at 301-517-8100 or email ERSC.
