You Can Do It: Climb 10 of the Tallest Buildings in Our Area
To encourage physical activity among MCPS employees, Well Aware is again holding the Flights to Fitness (F2F) challenge. This time, F2F challenges you to climb the flights of stairs in 10 of the tallest buildings in the Capital Beltway region. How will you do that? By climbing the equivalent number of flights of stairs in your work or other convenient location, you will scale 309 flights!
Stair climbing can be done on your way to your office or a meeting and can even provide a quick break in your daily routine. There are huge benefits to your heart and mind, as well as to your leg muscles. By participating in F2F, you also will reap the reward of staying in shape during the cold winter months.
Join us! You will find more information, including a list of the region’s 10 tallest buildings and a way to keep track of the flights you ascend, on the Flights to Fitness web page.
