MCPS to Host Virtual Conversation about ESL Classes for Parents

MCPS will host a virtual conversation with the Literacy Council of Montgomery County (LCMC) to discuss English as a Second Language classes available for adults. This conversation will be hosted in Spanish.

Parents and community members are invited to join the event at noon on Thursday, Oct. 28. Participants will learn about the LCMC classes and have their questions answered live.

The LCMC is offering English as a Second Language classes free to MCPS parents and guardians. There will be virtual and in-person options for all levels of English speakers. They are available to any parent for whom English is not their first language. Interest form for English classes

The conversation will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook. The recording will be available after the event on the MCPS en Espanol YouTube channel.

MCPS is planning virtual conversations about this program in other languages.
