More Than 70 Mindful Moment Videos Available
More than 70 mindfulness videos are available for staff, students and the community to help manage stress and anxiety. The Mindful Moment playlist is available here. The goal is to deliver simple and effective tools to help manage anxiety and stress. The strategies are designed for students of all ages, adults and families.
Each video is presented by staff members and others in the community, who lead viewers through a mindfulness exercise (either physical, mental or breathing) to alleviate emotions, such as stress, worry, frustration, fear, depression, anger and restlessness. Most videos are between 10 to 20 minutes, and cover one specific technique. Fifty of the videos are recorded in English; another 22 are in Spanish. Among the topics covered: children’s yoga, mindful eating, introduction to affirmations, leaving fear behind, releasing stress, positive self-talk, cultivating compassion and building empathy for others.
