The Educator Application and Certification Hub (TEACH) is now available to educators and replaces the Maryland State Department of Education’s former Educator Information System (EIS).

All MCPS-certificated staff must complete a one-time registration in order to access their MSDE certification records. MCPS has developed TEACH Application Guides (click the link to see the overview), which will guide educators through the TEACH system. To register, use the TEACH Registration Guide (click the link to the guide), which is also available on the MCPS Certification website.

If you have a technical question about the TEACH registration process, email MSDE. For questions about MCPS services via TEACH or about a Maryland certificate, email Marie Bercaw, certification coordinator in the Department of Certification and Staffing.
