Online Seminar to Offer Information on Depression, Suicide
Every year, thousands of individuals die by suicide, leaving behind their friends and family members to navigate the tragedy of loss. On Friday, Sept. 10, National Suicide Awareness Day, an online Kepro EAP seminar: Creating Hope Through Action, will be available. You can access this seminar by logging onto www.eaphelplink.com and entering your company access code (MCPS). This pre-recorded seminar will offer information on:
- Recognizing the warning signs of someone who is dealing with depression.
- Learning how to respond to and communicate with individuals who may be thinking about suicide.
- Helping to connect individuals with life-saving resources.
- Understanding the impact suicide and suicide attempts have on families, friends and colleagues.
