Prekindergarten/Head Start is hosting a free summer registration event from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, at Wheaton Regional Park. The event is co-sponsored by Community Action Agency, Montgomery Parks, Early Childhood Services and Montgomery County Public Libraries.
Parents of 4-year-olds will have the opportunity to register for prek or Head Start. The event will also include community agencies who will provide resources, along with fun children’s activities, a DJ, face painting and music. There will be free food for families who register; food trucks will also be on site.
Wheaton Regional Park is located at 2000 Shorefield Road in Silver Spring.
