Registration Open for Professional Development This Fall
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for the fall semester 2015 are available now for registration through the Professional Development Online (PDO) system.
The fall semester runs from October 2015 through late January 2016. Teachers have priority registration in all CPD courses. Support professional staff and substitute teachers may register on PDO for CPD courses, but will be considered on a space-available basis.
The CPD registration fee will be assessed to permanent employees via payroll deductions after the successful completion of the course. Employees with outstanding balances must clear their accounts before registering for new classes. Employees on long-term leave should contact the CPD office to make payment arrangements.
New Fee Structure
The Montgomery County Education Association has established the following registration fee structure for CPD courses:
- $30 for a 1-credit course
- $60 for a 2-credit course
- $90 for a 3-credit course
Permanent employees will have the fee assessed by payroll deduction after completion of the course. Non-permanent employees such as substitute teachers or employees on long-term leave should contact the CPD office to make payment arrangements.
