The Career Pathways program, which supports SEIU Local 500 unit members in identifying career goals and getting training to attain those goals, is seeking ambassadors. Ambassadors are SEIU members and trained mentors who promote the Career Pathways Program. Employees can apply to become an ambassador if they have letters of reference, a minimum of five years in MCPS and met competency in all areas of their most recent MCPS performance evaluation. Ambassadors will focus on mentoring and coaching employees in their job class.

Individuals chosen to be an ambassador will be paid a stipend. An information session will be held on Zoom from 4:30–5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, on Professional Development Online (course#91361).
