SMOB Nominations Open Until Jan. 27

The Montgomery County Board of Education and MCPS are seeking nominations for the 45th Student Member of the Board of Education (SMOB). Eligible students are current 10th and 11th grade MCPS students and must be residents of Montgomery County.

To submit your nomination for candidacy, review the SMOB election protocols (page 29-30). More information is available on the MCPS SMOB Election webpage.

Nomination forms should be scanned and submitted electronically to Shella Cherry, director, MCPS Student Leadership and Extracurricular Activities, by email at no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27.
