Special Education Advisory Committee Meeting Set for September 24

This school year’s first meeting of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) will be held virtually on Thursday, Sept. 24.
SEAC is comprised of parents/guardians, MCPS staff and representatives of Montgomery County community groups that advocate for students with special needs and advise the Office of Special Education. The meetings are open to the public, and allow parents to connect with each other and have conversations with special education administrators.
All meetings are held from 7–9 p.m. Future SEAC meetings are scheduled for:
- Thursday, Oct. 22
- Monday, Dec. 14 (Superintendent Jack Smith is tentatively scheduled to attend.)
- Thursday, Jan 21, 2021
- Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021
- Thursday, March 25, 2021
- Thursday, April 29, 2021
- Thursday, May 27, 2021
