The Board of Education approved the following administrative appointments at its May 26 business meeting:
- Karla L. Lopez-Arias, Supervisor, Behavioral Health, Department of Student Engagement, Behavioral Health, and Academics, Office of Student and Family Support and Engagement, Office of Teaching, Learning and Schools
- Desmond M. Mackall, Principal, Meadow Hall Elementary School
- Lita M. Yates, Principal, Fox Chapel Elementary School
In Memoriam
Richard M. Evans, substitute teacher, died on April 3. Mr. Evans was 71 years old. He had four years of service with MCPS.
