Summer Read and Learning Program Starts June 16

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) is holding its Summer Read and Learning Program from June 16–August 31.
The Summer Read and Learn program offers kids and teens a chance to fill the summer with great books and fun activities. Read books, do fun learning activities, and attend virtual events all summer long.
To participate:
- Sign up (or log in) online.
- Earn online badges to complete the program.
- (Optional) Print an Early Literacy or Elementary School Age game board at home.
MCPL reopened six branches at the beginning of the month, and is opening an additional seven branches on June 14. The remaining branches will reopen on July 6, with the exception of the Germantown Library (closed for a refresh project) and Noyes Library for Young Children.
The hours at all branches will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; and noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
