Talking About Dementia
The National Capital Area chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a program, Dementia Conversations, from 4–5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12.
When someone shows signs of dementia, it’s time to talk. Often, conversations about changing behaviors with family members can be challenging and uncomfortable. This program offers tips on how to address common concerns, such as doctor visits, driving, and making legal and financial plans.
For questions or to register, contact Robyn Rosenbauer, LCSW-C, CEAP, with the Employee Assistance Program. Registration closes on Monday, May 10. Those who register will receive the Zoom link the day before the event.
