The University of Maryland University College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County are hosting an information session for MCPS support professionals who are interested in pursuing Maryland state teacher certification to become MCPS teachers. Those who pursue certification will become prepared to teach in one of the following Grades 7-12 certification areas: mathematics, biology, earth/space science, chemistry, physics or computer science; or in pre-kindergarten—Grade 12 English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
The event will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Pine Room on the 3rd floor of the MCPS Office of Human Resources and Development, 45 W. Gude Dr. in Rockville.
