Waymaking Episode Highlights Social-Emotional Learning
The latest episode of “MCPS Waymaking” features a discussion on social-emotional learning lessons being offered to students. “MCPS Waymaking” is a new video series that highlights mental health and well-being resources for staff and students.
The show is hosted Dr. Christina Conolly, director of psychological services for MCPS.
Guests for the latest episode are Karen Crews, supervisor of school counseling services, and Asashia Martin, instructional specialist for the Restorative Justice Unit. Conolly and her guests explain the social-emotional learning lessons that MCPS students participate in during the extended school closure and what supports and resources parents can access from home.
