Through a collaboration between the Division of Food and Nutrition Services and Real Food for Kids’, Chef Exchange Program, MCPS worked with Silver Diner’s Chef Ype Von Hengst to develop four plant-based recipes and then invited a group of students from its newly formed School Meals Working Group to sample, judge and give recommendations for these additions to the School Meals Menu.
