Are you looking for summer employment? Are you looking to work with MCPS students and colleagues to prepare for the coming school year? MCPS has a job for you! The district has positions available for a variety of summer employment opportunities for MCEA and SEIU unit members.

MCPS will be offering a robust summer school program at every school. These programs will support the academic and well-being needs of students. Teachers, paraeducators, clerical and security staff are needed. Teachers will receive 60 minutes of planning time every day to prepare for classes.

There are also a variety of employment opportunities in central office locations. Each position is geared toward preparing students, staff and families for the coming school year.

Summer employment allows you to make a difference, learn new skills and meet new colleagues. See the list of available opportunities: Summer Employment Communication.

Applications are being accepted now and interested employees should apply online at MCPS Careers. Click the For Current Employees banner and log in to the Summer Employment section. Employees will have access to a complete list of all summer employment opportunities, or options can be narrowed by entering specific search criteria in the “Keywords” field. Non-teaching opportunities can be found by selecting options available in the “Job Field” field.
