Waymaking Special: Mental Health in Communities of Faith

MCPS is hosting a free virtual event from 6:30–8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, to give students and their families the opportunity to hear from members of the faith-based community on the impact of mental health stigma. The event will feature a video discussing mental health in communities of faith and a community Q&A session. You can access the event here.
Confirmed speakers include: Dr. Cynthia Turner-Graham, Mount Calvary Baptist Church; Mimi Hassanein, Islamic Society of Gaithersburg; Dr. Shauna Moore Reynolds, The Peoples Church; Rev.
